Nov 24, 2018 - For the last few days I have been having a problem with saving my drawings. I get an AutoCAD Message that says: One or more objects in this. Apr 02, 2013 Save/Save As commands makes ACAD 'Not Responding,'-everywhere. Welcome to CAD Everything, an archive of CAD discussion. The reason I asked how a new drawing performed is to help figure out if the problem is the files you are working with rather than the computer or the software/installation. AutoCAD 3D Open and Save As commands.
Good afternoon!
I've Been having lots of trouble with Saving/Save As commands... every time I go to Save/Save As, it momentarily freezes up, and tells me that,'AutoCAD is Not Responding', (it doesn't matter Where I save to, either: I've tried changing to a flash And external drives, got a new laptop, And a newer version of CAD even! I went from 32-bit to the 64-bit version). I was using AutoCAD LT 2010 (32-bit), but now-on my new laptop, I'm using ACAD LT2013-64 bit).
This command seems to haunt me, no matter which version I'm using, or which pc I'm using! Please help; this is interrupting my work terribly! (Not to mention that it freezes out of nowhere @ times)...
I used to think that it was my desktop pc, but it's doing the same thing on the new pc. The 'freezes' don't last Quite as long as they did on my desktop, but they are still frequent.
I've just installed the LT2013 fresh out of the box...
Thanks for your help; I surely need it!
First I want to thank everyone for all the help you've given me in the past. You've been a real time saver for me.
Now on with my new problem. When I choose the 'save as' command from my menu I used to get a dialog box to put in my new drawing number. Now when I choose the 'save as' I get this.
Command:_saveas
Current file format: Autocad 2007 Drawing
Enter File Format [R14 (LT98 & LT99) / 2000 (LT2000) / 2004 (LT2004) / 2007 (LT2007) / Standards/DXF/Template] <2007>:
Did I change something or do I need to change something to get my dialog box back to 'save as'.
I hope somebody can help me. I am presently using Autocad 2009 - was using Autocad 2007 until the end of last year.
thanks again.
